ABOUT CCPNR
Founded in 2004, CCPNR/CCRSIA provides a forum to discuss and collaborate on issues and initiatives relevant to the regulation of practical nurses in Canada.
The initial mandate of the CCPNR/CCRSIA was to promote excellence in practical nursing regulation by demonstrating leadership, best practice and innovation.
Representatives of ten practical nurse regulatory authorities in Canada were the first members of the CCPNR/CCRSIA.
Since 2004, the CCPNR/CCRSIA has expanded its membership and has collaborated on a number of pan-Canadian initiatives involving other health care professionals including the Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses.
